Hey Grisham, SWM what?

I was really laughing out loud when I finished this book! When I bought it, I thought it would be fun coz its his ’usual’ machismo politicky stuff. When I’ve closed it, what! Homosexuality is the word. I have nothing against it, and have no qualms on it.

Anyway, the Brethren (I mean the three stooges and not the book) is really genius. And who could be more genius than Grisham. Preying on closeted guys in power and authority and extorting them or their secrets revealed. And how lucky could they net than the national presidential candidate of the most powerful (or so they claim. peace out) country in the world.

Gosh, are there still many of them out there? Now i’m kinda skeptical if the person staring at you in the bar is a homo or not. Hehehe... my fifty cents.

Well, about the book, the plot was really nicely built and woven - intricately. The characters stand strong. I mean every person got a share of strength. Every person used are essential and you couldn’t think of saying, ’Why is this person involved in this story?’ since everyone is.

Although I don’t like much the ending, it still bamboozled me coz I thought otherwise. That proves how improbable Mr. Grisham can be.

Also, I have doubts of what SWM really is. Hey John, single white males (?) should somehow be spelled out in another part for other’s sake. Although implicit, its not quite clear which makes me put a question mark on after the acronym, coz I really first read it as ’swim’, and then I laugh out thinking, no, this can’t be swim.

This is the 2nd Grisham book I read and its far better than a time to kill...

/jong/ <-- hey, that’s my nick
