This album has everything from senti number to bhangra to disco hip hop and I hope you would like as I liked it. Here is my review song by song :-
Tumse Kahein Ya na Kahein : This is one of the songs of the movie to look out for. The song has very good lyrics and is written by none other than Jaaved Akhtar. Anu Malik has done a fair job in giving music. The use of guitar in the background is good though not brilliant. There is some english lyrics in between sung in chorus and is very good to listen. Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik has sung beautifully and overall the song is very soothing to listen.
This song has other two versions, sad version sung by Alka Yagnik and an instrumental version.
Payal Bajake (Goa Groove) : This is the song to watch out for, a disco number having nice beats. The lyrics are by Dev Kohli and Gurinder´s husband Paul Mayeda Berges. The lyrics are just OK but the music is very catchy and is sure to rock you. Gayatri Iyer has sung it beautifully with sexy oomphs.
Balle Balle : This is the first song of the movie, a punjabi wedding song sung by by Sonu Nigam and Gayatri Iyer in peppy voice. Sonu Nigam is brilliant as usual and the lyrics are OK. Though I could not understand the lyrics fully but the song is filled with energy and definitely make you tap ur feet on the ground.
No Life Without Wife : This is a rap song by Gayatri Iyer, Swomya Rao and Nisha Mascarenhas and is fun to listen. This song is sung by the four sisters of Bakshi family (in movie) to describe the kind of grooms they want. The lyric is funny and overall the song is above average (not good).
Dola Dola : The song written and composed by ANu Malik is just good enough. The lyrics are not much as the same lines are repeated over and over in the song. The music is average and nothing much to say about it, just an orthodox garba music. Ordinary music.
Lo Shaadi Aayi : The song starts with the music of Tumse Kahein ye na Kahein and then change to a narration. The lyrics are ordinary and the music changes pace too often. The song lack a great deal in lyrics, in fact it would have been better if this song had been not there. There is lot of bhangda noise but all waste due to lack of https://lyrics. Pretty ordinary song.
The overall rating of 3.5 as I have given above is solely because of the first four songs. Finally I would suggest that the album is Good enough to buy if these four songs appeal to you as they appealed me.(Agar koi shuq hai to ek baar mp3 songs listen kar lo, baad mein galiyan mat dena ;) )
