Hilariously funny!!

I saw the movie before buying the book... and, lemme tell you, DONT JUDGE THE BOOK BY ITS MOVIE!!!!’’ The book is seriously better than the movie. Bridget Jones’ Diary is really, really funny and witty. It’ll definitely have you laughing out loud after every page!

Bridget’s character is very endearing. Daniel Cleaver, her boss who she has a crush on, is portrayed as the typical ’’bad boy’’... He doesn’t keep his word, the only thing on his mind is sex, he has not an inkling of sensitivity, and he couldn’t care less about broken hearts. Mark Darcy, the son of Bridget’s parent’s friends, is a top barrister and a divorcee who Bridget’s mom keeps flinging in Bridget’s way hoping that she would get married to him. Bridget, you see, is single and 32 and couldn’t care less about Mark.

anyway, you’ll definitely feel for Bridget when you read this. And, if the movie didn’t have Hugh Grant as Daniel, I would have hated him :)
