Put it in a nutshell MilkBikies is Plain Biscuit with out any frills attached.Britannia, in my view is the best brand of biscuits available to us Indians for the sheer range and quality of its products. But then MilkBikies is surely not their best offering. For those who look for that something which differentiates it from the other milk biscuits from competing brands, say Parle you are not going to find anything at all. The biscuit itself is not bad tasting or low quality. What it lacks is the richness of say a product like GOODDAY(Britannia)and might be the surprise twist of MASKA-CHASKA ( Britannia again). MilkBikies is a very predictable biscuit. If it were created to be a light biscuit then again it faces stiff competition from an array of MARIE biscuits ( now being offered by almost all leading brands). Probably the biscuit is targeted at the growing-up age groups. The presence of MILK( I sincerely hope its not just in the name alone) makes its a sure-fire hit with the Mothers of this World, but as I mentioned earlier, its too plain to be attractive to the kids. Maybe some kind of experimentation with its shape ( remember biscuits that were shaped like animals)or some other surprise element that can be added to make it a slightly more appealing biscuit.
As I mentioned earlier, I still maintain that its not a poor quality or bad tasting biscuit by any stretch of imagination. Its as tasty as any other Milk Biscuits on offer, if not better. Its very reasonably priced.I would surely recommend this biscuit to someone( who is looking for a Milk Biscuit) as I think its a pretty good biscuit to have once in a while and a value for money product. But given a choice it will not be a biscuit that I stock up in my Kitchen cabinet ...for that I will still cling on to GOOD-DAY(Cashew), 50-50 or may be even Krack Jack (though its from PARLE).
