I have been a BT employee from March 2015 till December 2015.
Was selected as a teammate for a pre-opening team for a process called CMCC, as BT were coming up with their captive unit in Gurgaon.
Sounds a great opportunity and an awesome place to work.
There was a huge difference with the annual package they offered and the monthly take away. As there were many un-explained things at the time of interview, to which people reacted but had no option but to accept the deductions from the salary.
HR informed there will be an unbelievable incentive program for the new process as this is one of the major sales prospective process and helped BT to grow their monetary status.
Expectations were high that the employees would get the best incentives plan that isnt available in the market.
Months later, to their expectations it certainly happened. BTs MD India came up with a huge announcement to make to launch the incentives program. Which was a quarterly incentives program and it would offer an amount of INR 5400 per quarter for the one who hits 150% result.
4500 for the one who hits 100% results
and 3600 for the rest of the people above 80% result.
Giving your 100% at work, and getting an incentives of approx Rs1500 a month( 4500 per quarter) , made people to think otherwise.
To their words, we started getting work load without any extra pay.
Fixed Saturday-Sunday weekoffs were now split as per their business requirement. A fixed shift was now being converted into a 24x7 typical call centre environment.
Management didnt really cared about the employees and the employees had no option but to become slaves and work for peanuts or to look for other openings in the market.
Since March 2015, there have been hundreds of employees who had left BT and got a better job to work.
An individual puts his heart to his work to make money and not to get exploited.
Thank you for the experience BT.
