Very Very Poor Management Kolkata location

I am from Kolkata location. I worked here for more than 2 years. I had to leave the company on June, as I was victimized for things which I had no idea about. There was a Huge politics and back biting happens every now on then especially with the tenured adviser Management here is the poorest of all. In particular Mr Naveen Aggarwal and Mr. Dipanjan Dutta. They things what they says is always right. Does not let other to speak, They keeps on talking talking and talking in a 1:1 session that too on a dominating and threatening tone. Just exploiting the people from the adviser level as there is a very little scope of opportunity in Kolkata. I have no issues with BT as a company, it is one of the best organization at the world level with a Huge customer base and offices located in major cities in India and abroad.

Just to share an incident which led me to resign from the organization.

I met with an accident on 4th April 2017. I had a grievous knee injury. Due to that I was unable to attend the office for few days. I have informed my manager immediately about the incident. Dr prescribed me to take a 2 weeks of complete bed rest as I was not able walk or bend my leg. I have sent the pictures and prescriptions through mail and whatsapp. But they pressurized me to join ASAP. However, on 11th April I came to the office and did the entire shift. It was paining huge at the effected area. I asked to the management to leave early, but they did not allow, asked me to stay till the shift end. Some how I manged and came back. The condition deteriorated and I was unable to go the office for next couple of days. I had enough sick leave balance, but management refused to give sick leave and marked as ULWP(unauthorized leave without pay) It puts a huge impact in the course of impression and eligibility to grow. I followed it up with them and requested about 100 times to revert the same with enough evidence about the incidence. The worst part is that when Mr Dipanjan Dutta said that these documents are not genuine. It was really shocking and disgusted feeling about that person. He also narrated a story of one of his colleagues who attended office immediately, just next day after an open heart surgery, Which is impossible. Then only I decided to leave the organization(rather the management) Now, before I put down my papers, I have been bullied and victimized for the things which I have not done. Then finally I resigned from the organization with a Notice period of 2 months. 19th June was my last working day.

Management here is very much woman oriented and gender biased. In the mean time I visited the Gurgaon Location in Phase 3, the environment and work culture there is just opposite to that in Kolkata. Hence its a humble request from my side to forward this complaint at the higher level of the concerned department. People like Dipanjan and Naveen Aggarwal should be penalized and expelled with an immediate effect in order to maintain the reputation of the Company.

There are other employees also experienced a similar kind of behavior from the Management. This is not only putting the people’s career at stake, but damaging the reputation of the organization. There are huge number of people left / serving notice period. Attrition level has increased like anything.

All in all it was a very very poor experience in my career till date. Not because of the company, but the BTC operation Managers like Naveen and Dipanjan.
