Terrible Experience with Bro4u

I recently had a distressing encounter with Bro4u and Omega Air Conditioner & Refrigerator Services while seeking repair for my refrigerator. I strongly advise everyone to steer clear of these service providers, as they not only failed to address the initial issue but also caused further damage to my appliance.


Upon discovering a small hole in my freezer wall, resulting in a gas leak, I decided to contact Bro4u for assistance. They promptly assigned a service technician from Omega Air Conditioner & Refrigerator Services to handle the repair. The technician visited my home and initially recommended replacing the entire freezer box, stating that the fridge might not function properly otherwise. However, due to the high cost involved, we declined the replacement and clearly communicated our decision to the technician. We paid the technician a visiting charge of Rs. 200, and he left.


Unfortunately, the situation quickly deteriorated from there. The technician returned after just five minutes, suggesting an alternative solution involving sealing the hole in the freezer box and refilling the refrigerant gas. Given his conflicting recommendations, we expressed our concerns about the effectiveness and durability of this approach. To reassure us, he provided a lifetime guarantee, assuring us that the fridge would work flawlessly. We reluctantly agreed to this plan and paid him Rs. 1800, taking into account the earlier visiting charge.


Regrettably, within 18 to 20 hours, we noticed that the fridge had ceased cooling altogether, with only the light remaining on. We immediately contacted the technician, who agreed to revisit our home. After a brief visit of 5-10 minutes, he claimed that the problem now lay with our compressor, attributing its failure to power fluctuations subsequent to his repair. Astonishingly, he blamed us for this issue, despite the fact that we had a V Guard stabilizer in place and never directly connected the power to the fridge. His demeanor turned rude, and he abruptly ended the conversation, refusing to answer our calls.


Left with a non-functioning refrigerator and feeling utterly frustrated, we reached out to Bro4u’s chat service, only to discover that they lacked a dedicated customer care service. Disappointingly, they sided with the technician, absolving themselves of any responsibility. While they offered a reservice, they refused to provide a refund. Furthermore, they suggested we purchase a new compressor ourselves. To date, the problem remains unresolved, and we have lost a total of Rs. 2000, in addition to being burdened with a non-operational refrigerator.


In summary, my experience with Bro4u and Omega Air Conditioner & Refrigerator Services was nothing short of a nightmare. Their service was appalling, and both parties demonstrated a complete lack of accountability. I strongly advise potential customers to avoid these service providers at all costs. It is truly disheartening to encounter such a dismal level of service and customer support.
