Yes...I knew it was a Gay Cowboy movie before I went to it. Please make no unfounded assumptions about my ignorance...i’ll easily prove just how ignorant I am all by myself. Thank you :)
If you’re a normal guy, with no homosexual urges, you might not want to waste your money on what results in just another chick flick...albeit between two gay men.
They aren’t even cowboys...they’re sheep herders!
And there are no guns, no shootouts, no explosions, not even gratuitous female nudity or anything! Not that any of that was advertised...but how can you have a ’cowboy movie’ without the traditional ’cowboy’ theme? This is just another case of Hollywood wanting their cake, and eating it too.
As many of you know, Hollywood couldnt be more detached from reality.
It’s awkwardly exciting I guess, because if you walk out of that theatre without your girlfriend...or a woman that can pass as your girlfriend...then EVERYONE will think you’re gay. Don’t fool yourself....not that there is anything wrong with being gay...But people will think you are if they see you at this movie alone or (god forbid) with another dude!
If you’re into romance and cheesy romantic, tugging-at-the-heartstrings kind of fluff...then this movie is for you. There are lots of cheesy lines and drama and the girl that went with me even cried...so obviously it has potential for some of the audience.
Otherwise, save your money for KING KONG, or something with some action in it.
Gay cowboys...puhleease! At least give us some shootouts!
