My first cup of coffee was accidental. My mother, a coffee-holic, wanted to keep me away from coffee. But one day I had a sip of her rich and strong coffee, and that too Brooke Bond. Since I have never started my day without a big mug of strong South Indian-style coffee. As I grew older, my bond with Brooke Bond became inseparable, and I became what people accuse me of, a coffee-addict.
I have tasted Irish coffee, cappucinos, etc, but none have the magic or the kick, as I like to call it, of the original Brooke Bond.
Nothing would be better than a steaming cup of Brooke Bond on a rainy morning. There is no vacation without a cup of good coffee, an interesting romantic novel and the comfortable couch.
Ever since I became a journalist, coffee has become part of my staple diet, 7-8 times a day. No work can be done without a strong cup of Brooke Bond coffee, call me a loyalist, but I would rather stop drinking coffee than not drink Brooke Bond.
