This sunday I got time to watch that movie. directed by karan malhotra and produced by karan johar. I suggest that movie just because of jackie shroff and akshay kumar acting. siddharth malhotra also did well. the picture is based on warrior by gavin o’corner.
the story was good enough to stick people on there seats. akshay kumar named as david and he was a physics teacher he was living with his wife jenny( jacqueline fernandez) and his very small daughter having kidney problem.
And to treat his daughter he needs more money. so to get extra money he does street fight. his financial status was very weak to treat her daughter. and all of sudden he also loses his job. gerry(jacki shroff) is his father and monty( sidhdharth malhotra) is his step-brother.
Gerry at young age did not maintain his family well. and had extra-marital affair and as result he had extra son monty. but because of politeness of maria(jackie shroff wife) she accepts monty and take care of it. but one day after drinking a lot by mistake gerry killed his wife and thus david had too much anger on monty and gerry.
Suddenly the legalization of street fight happen and RTF championship starts. both david and mony take part into it and defeat all of their opponents. and both reaches in final. at last david fight for his daughter and monty for his anger on david. and then happy ending happens.
the sound, cinematography was quite good but the screenplay lakes the sense. and the story was little beat faster. you will see one by one fight subsequently without any break and extra masala in story. and some side story lakes to attract the people. it would be good if the added some more mixture in the film.
but I think it is a good film on street fight. so a one time watch average movie. and a must watch for whom who likes street fighting. jackie dada was amazing in that movie. and the story was quite good. but they could make that film more interesting like apne movie. which also contained some mixture with good songs as good.
