It is very nice

What is the first impression one imagines when mentally digesting the word ’’BRUT’’? Of course, one remembers back to childhood school days and the ole school bully. The dictionary defines ’’brut’’ as ’...ord with someone that is a bully. Too bad, because the fragrance is my all time favorite cologne (except for the title).

My wife loves the smell, but not as well as I do. She has also purchased me various ’’Avon’’ colognes (example : wild country) but I usually never wear them. BTW.. what do you do with old bottles of stout smelling liquids??? I quietly dispose of them in the circular file (ie. trash can) when my wife is not looking (I don’t care to hurt her feelings).

But the fact is, it is brut or nothing with this nomad. I don’t wear cologne but maybe once

or twice a month (not counting underarm deodorant), but you can bet your house, it is brut when I do.

I have tried a variety of products made by the same company with the same brut smell. I have not been too impressed with the anti-antiperspirant sticks. All the other brut products have the same great smell, but not exactly top notch effectiveness in their desired use. I don’t personally have to worry about a pungent underarm problem too often (God gave me smelly sweaty feet instead to worry about), but I just personally don’t like the Brut deodorant.

Though it is not expensive I just prefer a deodorant with baking soda for some reason. The after shave lotion have never tried. I shave in the shower and don’t need anything like that so I can’t make a recommedation one way or the other.

Sorry... Now, back to the brut cologne.... It is very reasonable priced here in the United States but I have no idea how it compares overseas to other similar items. It has a very strong scent that last about 8-10 hours with only a squirt or two administered, but I recommend an addition douse later in the evening if you wish it to linger longer.

I must warn you, it can be overbearing if too much is used, so use sparingly. The toilet water (ie. watered down cologne) is strong enough for me, but for those that may want a longer time between administrating it, the cologne is perhaps the way to go for them. Now the tough part, how to describe the smell. Words that come to mind

are ’’manly’’ ’’unique’’ ’’mountain manish’’ ’’woodsy’’ ’’stout’’ ’’musky’’.

There is nothing feminine about it whatsoever (though in an odd way, I never understood why women don’t wear it). If you think about it, why do men wear things they think smell good and women do the same.

If attraction (or acceptance) are the main reasons for wearing concoctions, why do women and men not wear smells that the opposite sex likes? I don’t really like many women’s perfumes whatsoever. I think women would smell great with Brut. But I digress... I would not like to wear some flowery smelling gunk just to attract women come to think of it..

Glad my dating days are over...
