What’s the difference between hair gel and styling lotion?
Hair gels are usually alcohol-based and are best used to manage styles and look. Some styles require medium to strong hold, like short, stiff spikes or tightly coiled hot-roller curls. Alcohol in gel evaporates gives a stiff finish.
Styling lotions are creamy solutions that usually contain nourishing oils and other ingredients like plant extracts. These are alcohol-free and dry into a light, soft hold and are used to produce more natural-looking braid effects.

Cons - Many may like the fragrance but I do not like the perfume. It smells like aftershave lotion. Better perfume will make it most popular hair gel.

D-Panthenol is also used for skin care and has very useful properties. It improves and increases the wetness properties of the skin like that of moisturizer. It also makes dry skin softer and more elastic. It has anti-inflammatory effect and soothes irritated skin.
