Hey MSasians ! Bought a Hercules Roadeo Turner 4 months back . There are 2 colour options.
Red and Silver
Purple and Silver
Bought the Red & Silver colour as the Purple colour was too girly for me.
Now which brands I had shortlisted
First , I wanted to buy a Hero , but my previous cycle was also of the same company , so dropped it.
My friend has a Fomas , but was somehow not happy riding it , so had to go for Hercules.....
So , I finally planned to go for a Hercules....
Went to a cycle shop , and he had many models of Hercules.......
But , when I came through this model , Hercules Roadeo Turner , there was love in first sight. . I selected this model and was eager to ride it . Had my heart set on it ......
Why I bought a new cycle..........
My first cycle , a Hero Street Racer , was about now 5 years old.....
Giving a lot of problems , paint was coming out , Alloys were rusting etc...
Pedal broke ( due to extensive cycling )
Okay................ now the pros........
18 speed Shimano gears ( which are made in Japan )
Smooth gear shift
6 gears
Single wall ( a tyre with double tube ) - mostly for stunts
Shock absorber to absorb shocks ( good for the bad roads in Mumbai )
You can make the pedal tight for exercise
Light framework
Attractive colour
It is an MTB ( Mountain Terrain Bike )
Now the cons
Experience till now.............
The cycle has had no problems till now ........... Cycles ride is as smooth as when it was brand new....
Only some parts have started rusting ..... No problems with the cycle....... Hercules also gives a free cycle lock worth Rs.100 . No colour peel-off till now ....... Even after experiencing Mumbai’s rains , Roadeo is fit and fine......
