For those who are heavy downloaders ( who can afford to wake up as early as possible ), this plan will be a great one...!!
-> 2.5 gb/month (excluding the unlimited night usage)
-> Bandwidth speed of 2mbps and download speed around 230 KBps (i.e) U can download one 700mb movie in just about 1 hour or less...!!
-> 250 LL local calls/month
-> unlimited usage for 6 hours (2 am to 8 am everyday)
-> monthly Rs. 660.. for Govt. employess, with 20% Disc. it is just Rs.530 !!! (inclusive of all taxes)
with this unlimited nyt usage, u can actually download more than what an unlimited user (In 750 UL plan, the download speed is just about 60-80 KBps) can download...!! but with a speed of around 4 times of the UL plan, with lesser cost...!! (e.g) my total data usage for the month of SEPT. was 25.7 GB, but I paid only 530, I also used 211 Landline calls..:-)
TIPS:
->avoid watching streaming videos during the day usage period, it will drink ur data very fast... rather u can copy the link of the video u desire to watch in a notepad and can watch it during the unlimited usage period (2 am to 8 am)
-> browse for everything u want to download and bookmark those webpages
->disable the automatic update options in every applications / softwares
-> on an avg, u can browse about 85 mb/day, which is highly useful, for students
DON’T go for it, if u browse a lot and don’t want to download a lot..!! rather it is better for u to go for 750UL plan...:-)
IT is not so useful for those who browse a lot during the day time and who want to watch the desired streaming videos at once, coz it will definitely exceed the day usage limit of 2.5 gb and will be billed excessively...;-(
FOR Landline:
make sure that your landline is locked
U will not know the importance of locking until ur bill shows that u have used 250+ calls (actually, you would have used the calls within the allotted range)
so, lock ur LL using the following steps..:-)
- first register ur 4 digit secret PIN number, by dialling 123 xxxx xxxx
xxxx -> ur 4 digit secret PIN
for locking, dial, 124 xxxx 4 (all outgoing local and std calls will be blocked )
for unlocking, dial, 124 xxxx 1 (only outgoing local calls will be opened)
dial, 124 xxxx 3 (both local and std will be opened)
I found this BSNL plan extremely useful for middle class people, like me!
