Being a cost consious cell user I opted for BSNL’s prepaid service Excel.
I don’t know why they call it ’’Excel’’ because it ’’Fails’’ in all respects.
It is a no dispute that they are the largest CellPhone company in India but they are the worst in service & support. I would like to heartly congratulate the people who are very happy with the services of BSNL as it is hard to find service and support with BSNL. Myth : 24365 (free call center number) They say it is a 24 hours 365 days of support.
Reality : no one can reach it even after dialing 24 hours 365 days (provided he does no work and is always free)
Myth : Widest coverage
Reality : The signal level will be good but you are never reachable either the lines are busy, Number is busy and the best of all ’’the number does not exist’’ (STRANGE)
Myth : No call drops
Reality : If you don’t get calls how will they be able to drop them.
Myth : Latest equipment
Reality : Yes they reached very late now they are obselete.
Myth : The best hardware
Reality : If it is the best what are they upgrading daily? (Since last 3 years I hope Mind Boggling)
Myth : Best schemes and lowest charges
Reality : Finally they brought out a scheme for Dussera and Dipawali a 1 on 3 scheme the scheme was you buy 3 recharge vouchers of same denomination you will get the ’’4th FREE’’
You have to use all the 4 vouchers in less than 2 months
BUT THE RECHARGE VOUCHERS NEVER REACHED THE MARKET (all got blacked)
Myth : Cheapest SMS to any where in the world
Reality : They mean world = your own circle and US (Cool) every one else stays in the other galaxies
A friends advise : PLEASE Don’t use BSNL if u want to communicate. Gift BSNL sim cards to your worst enemy
