I was a post paid customer of IDEA and each month after I got the bill looking at the figures my wife used to comment ’’your mobile expenses for a year would be much costlier than a SUMMER TRIP to Srinagar or SIMLA with family’’. Family for us is my wife, daughter & self.At that time only for using mobile within Pune with no STD or ISD or roaming the bills were always Rs.1200/- plus.
During the period, in November 2002 a friend of mine suggested to me that I changeover to BSNL’s CELLONE. I had my reservations for opting for a Govt. run mobile service. But after careful thought, I changed over to BSNL in December 2002. I approached a BSNL Customer Care Centre and with minimum hassles on providing a xerox copy of my last paid Landline bill & after filling up one form, I was given a SIM CARD for just Rs.100.00 with a no. of my choice. This kind of service I just did not expect from BSNL.
Let me share with one and all that in the last 3years I have had no reason to complain about the services or bills sent by BSNL. The coverage all over the city of Pune & in Mumbai which I frequent once a week to ten days is just great. Network is clear & awesome on the highways. Places that I have visited in the last three years like Jabalpur, Chennai, Coimbatore etc.there has been absolutely no problems with the coverage or network. Even while travelling by train from Pune to Chennai, I was surprised to get full network coverage during the major part of my journey.
I strongly recommend BSNL’s CELLONE to one & all. Please do not hesitate to switchover from your present provider to CELLONE for better, economical & hassle free network.
