I was an Airtel Karnataka customtakeouter since 2000. I have been using a postpaid connection around 2 years and I had of alot issues with the billing and then I shifted to Airtel Prepaid(Previously Airtel Magic). I was thinking that Airtel was the only good operator and never tried to change the operator. In between I had bought Vodafone sim after few months of launching in Bangalore. It was a very bad experience with network congestion and coverage issues.
Then again gone back to Airtel after using VODAFONE for few weeks. Atleast once in two months I had to call customtakeouter care to deactivate the service which I didn’t opt for. I thought only Airtel is the best operator in Karnataka and even though I had extra deductions and false billing and I thought I should live with it. Around 8 months back I got a free Jyodi sim with my BSNL Landline and I gave it to my wife. While at home I started making calls from the BSNL mobile.
I found that network coverage is really good and there is no network congestion. In the first try itself I used to get all the calls connected. I used to travel a lot and when I go for any trips to Tamil Nadu or Kerala or any remotest places in Karnataka, my Airtel won’t be having coverage but BSNL mobile shows full coverage. Then 6 months back I thought of changing my operator using MNP. I shifted to BSNL mobile. I took ALL@49p plan in prepaid and activated 3G. Usually every month I recharge around Rs1000 to 1500 in Airtel. After started using BSNL my recharges reduced to around Rs500 to Rs 700 a month. Superb network and very cheap call rates. Anywere you go you can’t escape from BSNL network. TATA DOCOMO ad is best suited for BSNL.
I had underestimated the service of BSNL. I thought only private operators can give better service. I have seen bad review about BSNL customtakeouter care of BSNL. But for the past 6 months I am using BSNL. I never called BSNL customtakeouter service since I don’t have any problem with the service. No unnecessary deduction and no cheating like Airtel. No looting of money like Airtel. Full talk time for most fo the recharges and extra talk time for high value recharge.
Two BSNL number for 20 ps without any extra charge.Very good Special Tariff vouchers which are best in the market. Now I became a die hard fan of BSNL. Now I am thinking I would have taken BSNL very long back then I would have saved a lot in my monthly bills. Very fast 3G service and very cheap data rates. 4p/10kb and if you use any data recharge vouchers it will be more cheaper.Video calls are from 70 ps to Re 1. Nobody gives this type of cheap 3G rates. I stopped using my TATA Photon and started using 3G service by connectiing my 3G mobile as modem.
BSNL coverage and quality of service is very good in 4 states(AP, TN, KTK and KERALA). I don’t know about other states. Excellent coverage and very good network.I recommended few of my friends to use BSNL.
Our government service is the best. No doubt in it.
