BSNL as a govt. initiative is the best operator with pretty good offers in Internet, as well as talktime.While others are charging INR 250/- for 1 GB 3G, latest news says that bsnl will offer the same 1 GB 3G for just INR 68 /-.
Call rates and tariff are also very good.
But the problem is with the service and the signal reception and quality of BSNL is extremely poor.If you are in 2G network, you can forget about browsing web, even whatsapp msgs wont get send even if signal strength seems decent, the same is happening during calls also, its not the problem with the cell phone, I have tried it in differnt phones, and with different operators.
