I am Omkar and I am using BSNL broadband for around 1.5 + yrs now and I have had a good experience with it. I had bought this in Jan 06. I bought this thought a offer by BSNL a lady called me and asked if I would like to subscribe to BSNL Broadband for Rs 1250 / - which include modem charges and 2 months of free connection so I asked my dad and he said we can subscribe for it so we booked it. as soon as we booked it they told us that it would take atleast 8 days to provide a modem + 2-3 days for activation and as said by them I got the modem on the 9th day and my user ID was activated on 12th day.
Since then I have received very less problems of connectivity and the speed is excellant. The plan which I subscribed was a STARTUP Rs 250 plan (taxes excluded) and as beleiving them I started using my connection on High rate and when I received the bill it was Rs 4583 and I got shocked. *Note: If you wish to subscribe to BSNL Broadband and are planning to go for a STARTUP Rs 250 plan plz be careful about you net usage. If you don’t you may receive bills above Rs 1500 or even higher (depends on your usage).
*After I received a bill of Rs 4583 I decieded to slow the rate of my usage but unfortunately my usage rate got increased and I started to get bills around Rs 2500. So I decieded to close my internet but luckly I heard of HOME UL 900 plan and I inquired about it and subscribed to it.
HOME UL 900 Plus is the best plan offered by BSNL. you have to pay Rs 900 as the monthly rental + Rs 110 as tax and thats it you will not be charged for a single additional buck as usage charge.
If you need a Internet connection go for BSNL its the best.
