Indifferent response from dataone customrecare

I had applied for a BSNL Broadband connection on 3/1/2007 . I belong to Adugodi area.The officials there had promised me to provide the connection within one week if I have a telephone line in the vicinity.I have got the new telephone line on 6/1/2007 itself and it is active now. But when I enquired about the broadband connection at the CO number (22281783) , the official responds indifferently telling they cant provide it in another one month. If that was the case they should have mentioned it when I applied for the connection itself , atleast I would have thought for someother alternative.


The most disgusting thing happened when I called up the customer complaints number 222122121 (17/1/2007 at 3.20 pm). The official spoke to me in a very rude manner as if I was at his mercy. He washed his hands telling, "I didn give you any promise, go to whoever promised you, Thats not my problem". I enquired to him on how I can escalate the matter or record my complaint, he just told " I heard your complaint and thats it".   This is not the response any customer will expect from a customer care/ complaints section
