Horrible service &no resolution despite escalation

My worst experience with any product or service so far.


The trouble started when I decided to switch over from Tata broadband which had begun giving problems whenever there were extra long power cuts in my area.


The BSNL technology was not dependent on any repeaters etc and hence the power cut wouldn’t have made any impact and thus began my tryst with the worst services provider ever.


The first couple of months were pretty uneventful and the connection in fact worked smooth and steady then the main road was dug up for maintenance and I had the first dead connection in my hands.


BSNL did their best to remind me the meaning of "falling on deaf ears" for every other day the connection would go back to its lifeless state despite the road work having been completed fully. Only way to get response was by escalation to their superiors as per the circle escalation charts published online however any respite provided was short lived and the next round of followups would start.


Finally changed over to Airtel braodband which is working absolutely fine now.


BSNL should be renamed as Bunch of Semiliterate Nincompoops Limited
