My experience with Dataone [ Part-II ]

Just when I finished complying my review "My experience with Dataone" my Dataone line went dead. I made a complaint on their service number. After 10 days the line is still dead i.e the Broadband is non functional. What I realise after gathering information that the customer care is run by a private vendor who just receive your call and place it into Bsnl server. The concerned exchange of your locality then is responsible to fix the fault. Now if u are a subsciber of  an exchange where personnels are inefficient and KAMCHOR then you will end up being UNConnected from India as well as from the world. What more exciting thing I found is that they don’t have the technical expertise to solve the Dataone problem. As the main brain of Dataone is in Bangalore the other parts are ill equip to handle Dataone related problem. I as an customer therefore suffers for their lack of technical skill.


So my suggestion to all who want to take Dataone is: first be sure how well equip your exchange is, i.e how responsive and active are they when you make a complaint be it an ordinary Landline problem or complex link failure in Broadband. Now you can feel then from where is I writing this review from? A cyber cafe, no way man I took a new connection from a private player who are offering me decent bandwidth at a much lower charge.
