Hi, I have taken bsnl broadband from Jan 6, 2007 at kolkata. Earlier when I used to stay in Mumbai, I had 256kbps MTNL connection.PRoblem with me is that 400mb with 256kbps was enough for me. But now here I have lost 500mb in 6 days only.Is it because of increase in bandwidth from 256kbps to 2mbps? Is there any connection between bandwidth and surfing usage?
I mean if bandwidth is high, does the same webpages consumes more usage?I have noticed that other application like voice chat, chat and song downloding is taking same usages. But when I open a webpage like rediffmail.com, it consumes 40kb at kolkata with 2mbps speed (though I don’t know if it is really 2mbps or still 256kbps) in place of 1kb with 256kbps at Mumbai.
Can somebody help me out? Do I need to reformat my comp? Because as far as virus scanning is concerned I have tried all norton, nod32, avg, avast one by one....but still rediff opens for 40kb and cricinfo.com for as high as 400kb to 1mb sometimes.
