This is my sincere appeal to all who are thinking to opt for BSNL EVDO wireless internet. I thought BSNL is growing and willing to give a good service to indian customer but as their advertisements they are still in mughal-e-azam era. The only good thing is you can rent the USB modem and return if you are unhappy with service {like me}. When I rented the device, the only plan was Rs. 999 with unlimited usage. But I never got to use it with full throttle speed. BSNL is saying that speed is upto 2 mbps at non-peak hours but believe me speed never went 1/4th of what they said. All the time they are working on their CDMA tower or the DNS/gateway server has some issues. BSNL is still using CDMA 1x technology for EVDO. The tower is just 100 meters from my home but still I poorest speed.
Now I am looking for another service but confused which one to go for?? Reliance is expert in fake bills to its customers but they have good network and speed reliability. TATA photon+ is just been launched here so not sure to go or not to go for it. Same with MTS mblaze.
