When evdo was first launched by BSNL a few years ago, it took the netizens across India by storm & suddenly became the apple of their eyes overnight! Everyone seemed to be going ga ga over its blazing speed & all that. But as the time passed by, BSNL’s poor management & maintenance gradually started taking its toll on this technically so advanced EVDO service. Now things are pretty different from what it used to be a couple of years ago! Speed is gone for like forever! Forget about HD or DIVX video, I cant even watch a simple flv video on the net coz it takes too long to load! Have stopped downloading bigger files now bcoz of its annoyingly slow speed. Its signal is very inconsistent & unpreditable.
Have to waste a hell of a time & energy to get the maximum signal strength around home. This service has in fact become so unpopular now-a-days among internet-users that BSNL had to pull back their price hike plan for EVDO recently!
