Bsnl has launched this facility in selected cities only. I am from Bangalore! Here is the EVDO story...
Actually v had taken this EVDO connection 6 months back and the speed was much much low...it was around 50 to 70 kBps...! it sucked big time then!
One day with the bill v got a letter from BSNL saying that v can upgrade to 2MBps with existing EVDO connection...and was really taken by surprise. Then v went th the BSNL office to get it reconfigured and wow...now v have 2MBPS wireless connection and its just great!! I can download up to 250 KB/SEC!
If u want to download from torrent *(p2p) then this isnt gonna work...coz this EVDO doesn’t have PUBLIC IP so u cant connect to P2p file sharing!
v tried very had to get this working with P2P sites but no use!
