My primary need was a fax which is not given to any private operator in the country by government except BSNL. Since BSNL denied giving me simple telephone line and offered me FTTH as alternative. After long follow up and writing to telecom ministry finally they came down to meet me. They took application and annual amount of 7600 and vanished for 15 days and I didn’t had the phone number of that guy, so visited the bsnl customer care finally found him and he came and gave the connection. did all the installation requirements. However the prime purpose was the faxline and I tried the same faxing something from outside to the number allotted to me and it failed and bsnl guy said it will be corrected and went away. from then am waiting and nothing has been done. I really dont understand why government is stubborn giving the authorisation to private operators for fax and the bsnl working is really pathetic. Really dont know when this will get resolved. If anyone has similar issue faced and if at all any solution found, please share here
