BSNL FTTH is a very bad product. The normal linemen of BSNL do not fix the issues - entire thing is outsourced to a 3rd party vendor. Their SLA of 24 hours is measured as 3 working days as their personnel work 8 hours a day. This is not a joke but their offiical policy
WIth such SLAs, if you are planning to use BSNL for your work from home or other activities, it is a no-brainer that it will not work.
Keep away from BSNL at any cost. Worst service provider
