This Review is for BSNL’s Data One Broadband Connection
I would like to bring it to everone’s notice that BSNL’s Datone Broadband Internet connection is awesome. I previously had Hathway’s connection for which I used to pay Rs650/- for a speed of 64 Kbps. Now I got BSNL’s connetion couple of days ago and I am absolutely spell bound regarding it’s download speed.
This is undoubtedly the fastest internet connection in INDIA at virtually half the price of other services. I never expected this kind of speed from BSNL. When I heard that BSNL is launching the broad band service, I thought it would be silly and that they would be fooling everyone regarding their download speed. But they took me completely by surprise. I don’t know what to say....They only ask for a cable modem, which you can get it by paying Rs 500 in advance and a monthly installment of Rs 100/- for modem. Then you will have to pay Rs 500 a month for service charges. In effect you’ll have to pay around Rs 600/- a month. This is far less compared to the speed they are offering and the price they are charging.
But the only dis-advantage is the download limit. They give a download limit of 1000MB. If you use more than that.. you’ll have to pay Rs 2/- for every 1MB you download extra. Though this should be enough for normal user.. i’ll have to see whether this will be enough or not for people like me.... I download lot of stuff...
On the whole I am throughly satisfied by the service. Infact I recommend that everyone should switch to this service without any delay. Bye-Bye Dial-up....
