Review for: Buy at you own risk card, I recently bought a Huawei EC321 from bsnl exchange in Meerut, its a Pcmcia slot based card. It costd me around 3000 rs nd they activated it then only.They told me the rent p.m. is 350 now (erlier 250).
It was working ok in the exchange, thot the speed is ok..nd they said it’ll be same throughout the city. When I took it to my place ..initially like for like 1-2 week the speed was poor I was getting 2-3 kps downloading a max of 5kpbs, pages took long , very long...
I was disappointed with thing. but then now from about a week I dont know wat did they do to the network (maybe coz its bin raining pretty good and weather is clearer, god knows) the speed is good bout 10-12kpbs(presently) a max of 14kbps.
Sites which then took year to show up (like fb, billboard top 100 page, orkut etc) were opening fast. I dont know how long its gonna be like this but as of now with this speed its not bad...specially with Rs350 unlimited it seems good, to surf and for the basic internet requirements. my first bill hasnt bin generated yet (bimonthly billing) but I think itll be around ~790. This connection was best suited for me..but if you guys dont have a budget problem and have a Evdo tower within 3kms(mine was over 14kms), go for EVdo.
