After the second incident I decide to write about the BSNL Chennai Circle at Mouthshut.
You will get to know what am talking about when you get to read my recommendation to the BSNL, which is as follows in VERBATIM.

This is a serious recomendatiom from me to increase the wages of the "lineman" and other lower end BSNL employees who represent BSNL to the customer end. They are the most crucial point of contact between BSNL and its end-users.
The reputation created over years by BSNL will go to dogs otherwise. The poor line man have to every time BEG, PLEAD or THREATEN the end-user-customer to install, repair or shift BSNL phone connections It is only my guess that the problem must be at the BSNL managements end for not paying them enough or not paying them in time. Please correct me if I may be wrong.
I already had a bitter experience where a line man from VIRUGAMBAKKAM took Rs700 form my mother in my absence to connect a stupid non-functioning line for me, which I ultimately ended up throwing out of my window to go with a TATA Indicom.
Here is another classic example of how cheap a BSNL employee can go.
