I was in fact astonished when I paid my bill before the due date and find my landline connection snapped off.
Called the Accounts department to ask why and they say if your payment does not reach us on the date the machine just snaps the connection. I understand if the machine does it but if a public sector unit provides poor service like this then one can realize their arrogance and the attitude to throw weight around and drive consumers mad.
Actually, service providers are expected to conduct the verification of the bills paid at the outlets approved by them and then disconnect the line, but then it is sheer arrogance that makes them simply disconnect the line. What kind of service is this?
I think MS forum should think twice before paying their bills on the due date or just a couple of days before the due date lest they disconnect it at the whims and fancies of some staff theirs. I think their policies show their poor attitude toward consumers.
Please do think about this. BSNL seems to have reached its peak and hence has begun throwing its usual weight around.
