I was very excited about wimax; as it doesnt hs any land line and portable also.
But its costly compared to others and they have the worst service for wimax.
Y bsnl wimax over other ISP?
.As its portable and I can move it where ever I want and as it is a Govt. organization, I thought it would be more better than others.
.And in my area there are no other such providers.

.Speed is like Max 60 to 80kbps in unlimited 750 p.m; plan.
.Can take where ever you want.Roaming free(i have nt tested)
.Useful in village areas if it has BSNL network coverage.

.Its been like few months there network has a lot of problems.
.The plan is 750 but the bill comes 901 every month.
.Customer service has no clue regarding there wimax support.
.Whenever I call them they will just start giving execuses but they dont hve any clue wahts going on, they will just say after 30min everything will be ok.
.Each time I used to call them they have a system problem as if this is there final answer to every question.
.If any problems occur you have to go to your nearest Exchange office and they dont provide number even;my nearest exchange was 25km away for every problem I have to go there.As the nearest local exchange doesnt have any facility.
.2 month ago I just closed the connection but the security deposite has nt been yt recovered .
Overall I would recomend you to go for other service provider if you do have but if you are in a rural area this will help you.
Customer service is worst! Consider that.
Initial charge was 1650 and Plan was 750 but Bill ws 901 /-
