BTH is one famous hotel name familiar in Cochin and their South-Indian breakfast menu is famous too. And I was happy to see BTH - Dosa Xpress in Lulu mall. But against my all expectations, the food served there was not as tasty as it used to be. Masala Dosa is my evergreen choice in breakfast list and I prefer to order it every now and then I’m in a restaurant with good veg menu.
But the masala dosa I ordered was not good at all. The texture was burnt and blunt in flavor. The chutney was watery and sambar was not tasty too. It was greasy but not of ghee or butter. Some other cooking oil was used resulting the different taste. We are self served here and seating availability is ok but on rush hours you too have to rush for seats.
They price you really high with added tax( because its in mall) around 100 for one set and the dosa is not worth the pay. I don’t prefer trying any other dishes out there. I wish they reconsider the quality of food served.
