Buddha Park is a buddhist monastery located in the Ravangla, a small town located in the South Sikkim. I have visited this place last year 2015. This place is extremely peaceful and full of greenary around it. The people over there are very polite and humble by nature.
To visit this place, a person have to always choose road route only and the roads are very narrow alongside the hills of Sikkim. We took our own cab from Gangtok to visit this tourist place. Since, its the capital city, hence, anyone can easily manage to get cab for the trip at appropriate cost.
A very tall Lord Buddha statue is located in the park which is the actual beauty of the tourist spot. You can go inside that statue where u will find beautiful paintings of Lord Buddha’s life story since his birth to accomplishment of Nirvana. The interior decor is very beautiful and you need to maintain silence inside it. No photography is allowed inside the statue. Although, photography is allowed outside the Giant Buddha statue. Overall, this a very pleasant tourist spot and I suggest that one must visit this place once in a lifetime.
