I had never heard of Buffalo before receiving this product, but what comes in the box is pretty standard for an external hard drive. The drive itself is light and fairly sleek. Like most, it comes with about 465 useable GBs of space.
My problem with this hard drive is that it seems temperamental. The first time I plugged in it was great. Fast recognition, fast transfer of files, not a problem in the world. The second time I plugged in, it began clicking and never recognized on the computer.
Ive gone back and forth with the drive. Some days it hooks up fine, some days it doesnt. Its a cheaper product, but for reliability I would stick with a more well known brand.
