Great customer service

Had got this hard drive back in  march 2012, my first impression were it is surely a quick drive. I used this drive to store my raw footage as well as backup project files.


All of a sudden one day when I need it to complete my project it failed to read, the light just stayed on and nothing else. tried alot but no luck.


Took it back to the apple store I purchased it from and they asked me to call up buffalo customer care and raise a service ticket.


I raised a service ticket the very same day and they took me through trouble shooting and then asked me my mail id for further instructions.


On mail they asked me to attach my purchase invoice as well as the serial no of the hdd.


I think it was around morning when I sent them the mail and by noon they mailed back for my address to schedule a pick up. By around evening I Had bluedart come pick my drive.


The next morning I got confirmation that they have received my drive and will be diagnosing it. By noon they sent me a mail stating they will be replacing the drive. Fortunately I had a back up. And by the next noon I had a new drive delivered. Pretty quick service.


I have since brought two thunderbolt drives, knowing hard drives can fail when you least expect it and knowing buffaloes after sales service I went with them and its been 2-3 years without a single issue, the replacement drive however has its usb cable tearing apart but works fine otherwise.
