Buhari is a simple restaurant In Adyar that serves North Indian and Chinese cuisine. It is one of the oldest restaurants in town and Buhari Hotel’s Dum Biryani is very famous.
The ambience and decor of this restaurant is quite simple and sober. Wooden seating arrangement with leather cushion and other basic furniture sum up the decor of Buhari.
The food is better than the ambience. Some of the popular dishes of Buhari Hotel are Mutton Brain fry, Tawa Fish Fry, Green Pea Masala, Campbell Chicken and Mutton Mughlai.
They serve a good variety of sea food preparations as well like Prawns Chettinadu, Prawn Pepper fry and Fish Green Masala.
The price is quite affordable. A meal for two costs around Rs 600. I will recommend this restaurant to all the North Indian food enthusiasts.
