I have been an avid taster and a fan of Buhari Briyani in the last few months. Crowd has been amazing during weekends for both lunch and dinner. Need to wait for more than 20 to 30 minutes to get your seats. Buhari hotel is a synonym for Briyani, but after ordering Briyani we are forced to wait more than 45 minutes as they say the briyani is getting ready and under dum.
Twice I had been told like that once in Anna Nagar for dinner on Sept 1 and next time was yesterday 16th Sept at Ashok Nagar for dinner. After a long wait the briyani came, rice was not cooked, chicken was bland. Masala had not got into the chicken. Waiters are not trained for proper customer service.
Lot of noise in the restaurant. Children shouting and wailing, playing and hooting and nothing is cheaper there for that class of restaurant but still Buhari is not a right choice if you want a quiet and decent dinner.
