You don’t have to know html or even how to use front page express although I have used it.
My very first web site which is now one of many was one I did with no knowledge. I have tried many of the free places to build one and find that none compare to talk city.
I have my choice of many backgrounds and I do change them from time to time. I have music uploaded on my site and plenty of links to other sites with common interests to my own site. Basically you just follow step by step instructions and put in what you want. I added my picture, etc.
It is very easy to add most anything you want and I have made pages for other people using this site with no html. If you want to use html you can but if you don’t know how that isn’t a problem.
You get a counter and a guest book and there are any number of things you can add to it with just simple typing and pushing buttons or clicking the mouse if you will.
I knew nothing when I did my first one and it looks professional so if you want to try it just go to https://talkcity.com You will need to set up an account with them but that is easy also.
It is a great site for many other things such as e-mails, classifieds, news, etc so go check it out. I have been using them for over 4 years and compared to the others find the web pages much easier and more professional looking than any of them, and I have tried all the free ones I have ever found.

If you use icq you can send it to all your friends as a url and get it passed around. Maybe having a web site is not for everyone but I love having alot of them. I have an online store and have a site just for that and many personal pages.
It can be a nice gift to make for some one also.
