Hi All,
I had visited Malaysia (Kualalampur) & Singapore in Aug last year.I had gone on vacations company sponsored it.We were around 19 friends.
We boarded from New Delhi on Air Lanka. The advantage was that we got free stay at Sri Lanka for 1 day.So this is advisable to go by Air Lanka(U need to compromise on flight quality on this airline....But anyways).
From Srilanka, we boarded malaysian airlines.Reached in around 4 hrs non stop flying. We stayed at Hotel Capitol. The Concorde Hotel, Kuala Lumpur is in the city?s Golden Triangle, the bustling business and shopping areas. Putra World Trade Centre and major tourist attractions are within 10 minutes walk away. For music or burger fans Kuala Lumpur?s Hard Rock Cafe is conveniently located on the ground floor. Rooms are contemporary furnished with soft coloured furnishings.
U will find lots of Indian resturants, majorly south India there.
We first visited THE MALL.Strategically linked to Kuala Lumpurs financial, business and entertainment district of the Diamond Triangle, The Mall is located opposite the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), the regions prime trade and convention venue. Timings are 10am 10pm daily.
Then we went to BB Plaza. The biggest ang huge shoping plaza. One might LOST there.Hahaha this happened with lots of my friends but thanks to Mobile phones.Dont forget to carry one with International Roaming. The Mall offers shoppers a complete shopping experience under one roof. Its anchor tenant, Aktif Lifestyle Stores, offers five levels of retail excitement with its life-style merchandise and services. From its supermarket to the bakery, gourmet café and food court, the ambience of this flagship store is designed not only to please the eye but to provide an engaging shopping experience for its patrons. Starlight Express is located on the 4th, 5th and 6th floors of The Mall
Next day the chance was for Central Market. As implied by its name, Central Market is located right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, just by the confluence of the Klang and Gombak Rivers where the city was first foun-ded. It is firmly entrenched in the small business district and is just a stones throw from the ever-popular Chinatown (Petaling Street). Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, the Central Market is well-served by public transport. There are taxi stands and bus-stands (serviced by the Intrakota, Cityline and Putra bus lines) located at the front (Jalan Cheng Lock) and the side (Leboh Pudu) of Central Market. In addition, the LRT Pasar Seni (Central Market) station and the central train and commuter stations are located just a few metres away.
I think its enough. But I can say that u will enjoy the trip to Malaysia.
DO READ MY REVIEW ON SINGAPORE SOON.Byeeeeee.Keep Smiling.
