I read mouthsut reviews extensively in last one month and finally made my choice .
I did test ride of several Bikes and made my decision in the end.I wish to write this review for the benefit of all the future buyers for Bikes
a. TVS Apache
Comfort - 8/10, Look -8/10, Its seemed ok in most departments but then its new and has not been tested by time .so I did not go for it
b. Unicorn
Comfort - 9/10, Look-7/10, Gets jaded faster.Honda seems to have focused only on Engine , which is too good but body is not good.Especially Black ones are worse
c.Pulsar
Comfort - 7/10, Look-8/10, Gear not very smooth,
d. Karizma,
Comfort- 9/10, Look-9/10, Body seems to be too soft.Fibre Body
e. Avenger
Comfort - 7/10, Look -9/10, Brakes position not good, bad for sharp turns, Need good height for this .
f. Bullet -
Comfort -10/10, Look-8/10, Gave me a royal feeling , so easy to handle
Considering I have never riden a bike but only a scooter .I found it very comfy after a scooter.
Ex ellent for a cautious rider, full comfort .
It is said the problem of bullet is starting, once it moves , world watches
Bullet is a 1950 model bike and karizma and other bikes are 2006 model bike .
Yes Bulleter might sit on sunday to see if parts are in place :) and definetly karizma owners will look at it , not just Karizma but even mopeds will also look at it :) Thats the pain it comes with Bullet.But dont other vehicles have problems ..thats why we have warranty right ..
But then when one sits on Bullet the sheer pleasure ride is what cleans all these experince.
Every bike can speed up definitely I did a test ride of Karizma and I was very sure I can beat any bike even in busy traffic if I am on a Karizma / Pulsar etc..
No Doubt about that .but is that the only thing a biker looks for .How about the riding experience.
its bike which we can enjoy in slow speed , the thumping sound , modifications ..etc make up for the pain one takes in keeping it in shape.
If I may say while other bikes are like horse , bullet is an elphant and its this difference that makes it attractive .I am aware that if Royal Enfield gets .5% of the total bike market that definitly limits the R& D they can do ..
But Guys lets ask ourselves , how much of free traffic do we get , do we always want to rush and rush to reach somewhere.
Lets go somewhere and enjoy every second of the ride.
I agree Guys speed, mileage are important , but what to do , choice is elphant or horse.which one would u like to tame ??
Its just a point of view of looking at it.
Recent development, have been riding comfortably for 2 weeks now ..Took time to learn the
kick start , the good experience continues (I have bought Electra 5S )
