I bought my Bullet Electra 5s few weeks ago and Iam already floored by its looks and performance.This is my sixth bike till now( starting from Luna TFR in 1984, Kinetic Honda, LML scooter then Hero Honda Ambition , Honda Activa ).I wonder why I did not go for a Bullet earlier(though I have admired it since my childhood)?May be because it did not have user friendly features like self starter etc then.
I love the looks of the all new ELECTRA 5s and also the lovely thump-thump of it’s engine which is almost a music.Coming to performance, one can safely say that there is no bike which can match the performance of a bullet.
Earlier when I used to ride my other bikes no one noticed, but now it’s a different story altogether and I am always looking for excuses to ride my Bullet.
Any one who loves a bike should buy this lovely classic bike.
Now it has been more than a month since I have been riding my ELECTRA 5s.I have observed that the fuel consumption (in the city, mostly riding in 2nd and 3rd gears) is about 30KMPL, which according to me is reasonable for a big bike like bullet, I have been using SPEED petrol from Bharat Petroleoum.Also it is very comfortable over broken roads and speed breakers of my city . The bike is very stable and the front disc brakes give good stopping power as compared to drum brakes.
There is nothing which I dislike about this bike except that the on road price of the bike (with disc brake and electric starter is Rs.88000/- in Varanasi and also the accessories are very expensive(The Leather SADDLE BAG set costs Rs.6500/- ! )
I would highly recomend BULLET ELECTRA 5s , D.B., E.S. to any one who enjoys biking.
