I felt PROUD to be associated with the brand which has been used by the LEGENDS and that was the only reason for me to decide to go for a Royal Enfield.
To day I am totally disappointed and unhappy having selected this brand, with great frustration I am writing this letter. So that no one should burn their money with Royal Enfield. Purchase Details PURCHASE DATE : 25 feb 2005 DEALER NAME : Southerm Motors, Gopalpuram, Chennai
My Report 1. Day one of Purchase the bike was Noisy, heavy vibrations and not smooth.
- Every Service the same has been reported to the dealer, But no action has been taken and according to them MACHISMO BULLET has these problems which cannot be rectified. 3. After 15300 KM running the engine oil started leaking through the oil filter, and according to dealer this is quite normal for bullet nothing to worry about it.
4. At 16700 km the bike started heavy flow of oil from the oil filter.I have started dropping mail to your customer service, after several mails, Mr.T. Ganapathy, junior Executive Marketing, Royal Enfied came to the service centre and did some alteration.(i.e, added a extra breather pipe to the engine)
- At 17900 km the bike started giving new problem, Excessive smoke from the silencer and getting stop now and then. Again the bike went to the service station and as per the service engineers there is problems with the PISTON and the PISTON has been replaced.
6.After replacing PISTON still the Bike has the same problem.
7.Now the bike is there at the service center for last 5 weeks and they are not able to solve the problem.For the above problem I have spent Rs. 15000/- , Till today the problem is not solved. No one has taken the ownership to solve the issue.Finally a local Macanic found the exat problem n solved it for me
