The Machismo is an excellent retro-styled bike.
A real collectors item,
this beast is powered by an exceptionally refined 346 cc lean burn, single cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled engine.
It now comes with a 5-speed gearbox, with left foot gear shift.
An elegant instrument panel, along with optional accessories like:
1> Poly carbonate windshield,
2> Front disc brakes,
3> Spring coiled twin seats,
4> Gas-filled shock absorbents,
5> Leather saddle bags, make it a head-turner.
Artistically designed, this thumper’s settings can be modified to make it a street-racer, or a cruiser, whichever you prefer.
This bike is very
stable, and extremely durable, especially in off-road driving.
Where it might lose out in 0-60 kmph acceleration, it makes up in the 60-125 kmph range,
offroad driving, and driver’s comfort (especially when cruising).
Although the
dealers state the max. speed as 110 kmph, it goes well above that.
The torque
and brute strength transmitted by this engine leaves the rest of the bikes behind,
especially when accelerating up steep inclines.
With mileage averaging between
30-45 kmpl, its not meant for the Bajaj Splendor fans. It has been built for
true bikers yearning for long drives, and for those who really feel the need for
speed.
Last but not least, the engines clear thump makes this machine a winner, and a trailblazer, even amongst the Enfield 500 cc options.
Enfield is more a status symbol than an average bike. Once you own an Enfield, you enter an elite club of bikers who love the road, the bike, the drive, and the freedom of spirit.
The thrill u experience when u push the throttle and witness the heavy thump scatter traffic on the road, cannot be matched by any other bike available in India. The bike can get slippery, so please make sure that your tires have the correct pressure rating, based on the standards, as well as your driving style.
The bike is extremely durable and consistent, and each enfield has a personality of its own. Word to the wise, love and care for your enfield, and it will never let you down.
Most of what ive put here is available on the official website, but u cant add hyperlinks, so I just typed it in to make it easier for readers.
Happy driving!
