This is the only bike from Royal Enfield, which has its brake on the right side and gear on the left, and is a original Bullet, Thunderbird also has the same option, but then its not a pure Bullet breed.
I bought my Bullet Machismo, in Aug 2004 and just love my bike, its been always a dream to own a bullet and the joy you get riding this bike is just great.
This bike just speaks your attitude on the road, and the crome tank just adds to its beauty.
Just went on my first long drive in May 05, and got a chance to test the bike on the highway and it truly kept up to its mark, even in the ghat section, this bike climbed cooly at a speed of 70K. Looking forward for many more joy rides.
If you are planning to buy a bullet and thinking which model, I would suggest you to go for a Machismo- A True Bullet.
I would not recommend this bike to any one who is conscious about milage as Bullet is a bike for some one who loves his bike, and yes needs some time for his bike to keep this beast at its best. Will give you a good average of 35-40Km per lt.
Drive it once and you will fall in love with it.
