The twinspark unplugged............

Well after the research of months and going through reviews all over the internet and friends, I finally got my tbts on 07/07/09. it costed me 1.03 lac on road delhi with alloy wheels and leg gaurd. I have completed 2000 kms with this beauty and I find it suitable to write a review.

in short I would like to mention important things for which reviews are most read.

the good ones.. power is amazing and bike stands out itself at any redlight or parking. Not a single day passed when nobody at a traffic light asked something about this wonder. Seating is best for ride of hours. comfortably seats two for long hours.

In city traffic of delhi it gave mileage of 48kmpl provided its not speeded beyond 60. beyond speed of 80 kmph it gave worst economy of 41kmpl. breaking is excellent never lets you down.

the bad ones...

Silencer is longer than the bike and goes way beyond rear wheel.it may look cool to some but it hit any pothol and mine actually broke after hitting one elevation. Service centre and dealers are not giving best of services. especially lamba entrerpr.. at tilak nagar delhi. RE people shoud actually look into this matter.

crome areas started rusting just in 45 days

vibrations atr a bit awkward initially but probably its part and parcel of a 350 cc engine

final verdict

bike is real fun to drive and I would suggest it as best cruiser bike provided one is willing to pay one lac price tag. no other bike gives 21ps power and a mileage nearing 50kmpl.

enjoy riding and wear helmets..bcz marzi hei aapki kyoki sir hei apka..-:)

*update 20/11/2009

*well I have finisher around 5200 kms on my tbts. and find it suitable to update my review of tbts

*good part

performance is good*

engine has become smoothened and vibrations are nominal now

i drive around 120 kms a day and still pick the keys of my tbts with same zeal as if its the 1st time.every ride is very refreshing and no fatigue at all.

i find the slightly dull thump better (although many might disagree who might be lovers of roaring thumps) as I feel unnecessary sound creats extra vibrations which I personally dont like.

now I am driving it btw 70 to 100 kmph most of times (obviously when roads allow) therefore getting 40 kmpl mileage most of times. but last time when I checked the mileage moving steadily at 50-60 kmph for around 180 kms it came out as astonishing 54kmpl.

BAD ONES

Poor support of service stations continues and is a major concern which RE people must take care seriously. there is lack of professionalism in these service people. or I might be wrong in comparing the servicing care provided by maruti people(my car) and RE. Some strating trouble in cold mornings. Rusting of chrome annoyed me after this rainy season but it was well taken care with 20 RUPEES nickle powder work. now it looks as new as a new born.
