Its Different....

I have been bullet user (lover) for the last 15years, need less to mention my due respects to the more senior Bullet lovers…. (This is my third machine)… I wouldn’t say I am a veteran though because I believe that no one can take control/ master a Bullet, and if you think you do, sorry! but you live in an illusion….

The graph goes this way… after 6 months of usage you feel you know the machine well after 2 years you think you have mastered the machine…. But after 10 years you feel there is so much to learn and appreciate about this master piece (ask me). I have read a lot of articles where people talk of the pros and cons therefore I am not getting into that.

I am extremely possessive about my machine and I feel its funny when I read articles from some Bullet users calling it a cumbersome bike…high on Maintenance and so on.

Let me put the facts right…. Go for a bullet if you have the passion for it (else you have enough cheaper options….). It’s a horse and needs to be treated well. It will ensure that you respect her and every time you start it without getting kicked …actually lights up your day. I am talking about the machines with Kick start (Not the toys with an electric ignition). Mark my word people if treated well it will never let you down. Believe me bullet gives you an indication of failures much in advance, you just need to feel it… listen to the engine sound…. Lubricate your chain… Check the oil levels.. and the condition of the clutch and accelerator cable.. that’s all what you have to do!!!

My advice to the starters is please understand Bullet is a collectors item and have your basics in place before you go in for one. In a nut shell it’s a great machine that has a glorious History behind it and Royal Enfield is  the Oldest bike company which is still under production…

So have fun and Cheers to life!!!!
