Roar your way in thunderbird

Proud owner of a thunderbird writing his experience with the power machine...

A perfect blend of bike and bullet... worth the penny you pay...

Luv it becoz

---------------

  • Good control and steady ride

  • Comfortable seat even for the pillion rider

  • Stylish

  • The power

  • Mileage ( I have got 40kms in Bangalore city for the past one year and I think it is good enough for a 350cc bike )

  • No starting hassles like in the orthodox bullet

  • Perfect bike for a looooong drive

Always better to

---------------------

  • change your clutch/accelerator cable to the new one. The old type breaks quite frequently

  • Go for the disc brake. It is really difficult to stop the bike at high speed without one.

  • Give for a service after a long drive.

Improvements to be made

---------------------------------

  • As someone pointed out in ealier review, the neutral indicator light has a dark cover which makes it difficult to see in daylight.

  • I had problems with oil leakage at the starting. But nowadays ( now one year ) I find it less.

  • The side indicators doesn’t have any sound. I don’t prefer a harsh beeping voice like other bike... but at least hey should keep a small ’tik tik’ sound. Most of the time I forget to switch my indicator off.

Overall

---------

A good bike... but we don’t get the raw feeling that we get in the orthodox bullet...
