I did not not want to write as it takes a lot of time. But still I am writing only because may it will help some one not to waste money on poor quality bullet motorcycles(RE all products). I bought bullet just by reading specification and reviews from some sites. which I later recognized these sites never write anything wrong about any product does not matter how worst the product is. So on 29 Nov 2011 I bought Bullet classic 500 cc. I was happy but not for long. Once I reached home I started having doubts about the quality of bullet. Tool boxes were not opening and once opened they could not be closed easily. front rim was misaligned and rim was touching front disc brake, which was never rectified by showroom crooks.
In bullet there is NOTHING in term of technology, quality. You see even 150 cc bikes are much much better than Bullets.
After 2 months 3000 km , bike started giving excessive white smoke, consuming lube oil and electric start not working, stalling suddenly while running.....and all the problems that you can think of the bike had.
Finally on 21 march 12, I took the bike to showroom and put the case in consumer court buy hiring a good lawyer. the case is still under proceedings. It took long time only because of my mistakes. But finally I am happy again as chances are that I will get my money back.
Now for those who want to buy any bullet bike, Bhai logo it is your money. If you want to buy I know you will buy. And I also know within 1 month you will start regretting. You can check on olx.in. bullets are being offered at half a price with just 3000-4000 km on odo meter. but have you ever seen any good reliable bikes on olx.in at such a price? NO. so that is the answer.
But If you want A showpiece that instead of putting at home drawing room, you want to take it on roads. Than of course Bullets are best. but I think spending 1.6 lakh on a show piece is not good decision for many of us.
